Air Freight Logistics Coordinator
Job DescriptionMeridian Cargo Ltd, was founded in 2003 with its head office in Old Montreal.
We currently have an immediate need for a full-time position for Air Freight Logistics Coordinator
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Handling both import and export air freight
-Track and trace Air and trucking shipments and with timely follow up with overseas partners and all related parties
-Multi-task and coordinate all aspects of shipment process, including Quotation, booking, manifest, -Bills of Lading, deliveries and billing.
-Proper follow-up on shipments and communicate with all parties by phone / email
-Provide assistance when needed to improve products and services
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
-Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, Emails essential
-Knowledge of international freight forwarding, import industry and regulations is an asset
-Bilingual (French and English)
-Strong communication skills / customer service skills and good team player
-Punctual with self time management and ability to set priorities / organize workload assigned
-Ability to work in a dynamic and fast pace environment
Assets:
-CIFFA training certificate and IATA DG certificate
-Extended language skills (Chinese / verbal and written).
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $30,000.00 to $40,000.00 /year
