margin-bottom: 20px;">　　据本地英文媒体CP24和CBC采访现场的目击者称，浓烟是从Scotia Plaza大楼门前传上来的，浓厚的黄黑色的烟雾夹杂大量尘土，从下水道的通风口冒出，不多时就覆盖了整个人行道以及半条汽车道。</p><p style="margin-top: 20px; margin-bottom: 20px;">　　还有目击者称，他听见地下隐隐有爆炸的声音，持续了很长时间。</p><p style="margin-top: 20px; margin-bottom: 20px;"></p><br>　由于当时正好是下班高峰，这一骇人场面被很多市民亲眼目睹。人们不知道地下到底发生了什么情况，纷纷躲避。<p style="margin-top: 20px; margin-bottom: 20px;"></p><p style="margin-top: 20px; margin-bottom: 20px;">　　事件发生后数分钟，多辆警车和消防车便赶到现场对大楼进行了疏散，还关闭了King街从Yonge到Bay一段，以便展开调查。</p><p style="margin-top: 20px; margin-bottom: 20px;">　　由于不知道爆炸的起因，以及为了消除烟雾，所以消防队使用了二氧化碳灭火器。大量二氧化碳被喷射进地下，原先黄黑色的烟雾变成了白色水气，上升十几层楼的高度，覆盖了整条大街。</p><p style="margin-top: 20px; margin-bottom: 20px;">　　晚6点，多伦多消防队就此事发布了第一则新闻公告。发言人Adrian Ratushniak女士表示，从目前的情况来看，浓烟缘于地面下的一组供电设施（hydro vault）发生了故障。这组供电设施有多个组件，其中还包括了一组高压变电器。</p><p style="margin-top: 20px;
